Executive summary
DailyBuilt finds where a business, from a local shop to a larger company, loses money and time, across clients, salaries, scheduling and production, then builds custom software that puts it on one platform. The platform includes an AI assistant owners can ask how to grow the business.
More than ten companies are on monthly retainers. Clients are not named here.
My role
I am one of three co-founders and run operations and outbound: day-to-day operations, client research and outreach, and coordinating client work from the first call to renewal. The platform itself is built as a team.
The problem
Businesses of every size leak money and time across clients, salaries, scheduling and production.
What I did
- Researched and contacted hundreds of leads.
- Ran our voice-of-customer research and outreach.
- Built the company's operating system: the command center, the operating manual and the task tracking, using Linear, Slack, OneDrive, Excel and Microsoft Forms.
- Coordinated our first pilot build: a website, booking, calendar integration and a client tracker, as an unpaid pilot for a local service business.

Lessons
Start narrow: practical systems with a clear scope, before anything broader.
